COUNTY CHAMPIONSHIPS – DAY 1 - BASILDON –2 MAY 2010
DAYS 2 & 3 – CHELMSFORD
Attached is the application form for County Championships 2011.
Can you please ensure that all competitors and coaches are made aware of the county championships as soon as possible. Entries were down at this year’s indoor championships but it is hoped that there will be similar number at the county championships to last year.
It is important that the application forms are returned by the closing date, as late applications WILL NOT be accepted on the instructions of the executive. In order to ease the administration for these championships, competitors are asked to send their applications in as early as possible. Can you also remind all applicants and coaches that English Athletics REGISTRATION NUMBER is to be quoted.
The timetable shows the events that will be held on each day and it is hoped that there will be no variation to this. Confirmation letters should be sent soon after receipt of the application. However, you are asked to check the website prior to the championships for a final timetable.
Competitors must send in the correct fee of £5 per event (names and addresses must be printed on the reverse of all cheques) together with a stamped address envelope. This should be A5 as the competitor’s number will be sent out with confirmation of entry.
A reminder that entries must be in accordance with UKA rules. Only competitors who were born in Essex, who have lived in Essex for the past 9 months or qualify under UKA Rule 9 (3) are eligible to take part in the championships.
